PAULO NUNES
Paulo has 30 years of experience in the construction, concessions and services industries, both in Portugal and abroad. He spent 25 years at the Mota-Engil Group, the largest Services and Construction Company in Portugal.
As a board member of Mota-Engil Environment and Services, he oversaw a group of 70 companies in 4 sectors: Water Management, Waste Management, Ports & Logistics and Multiservices.
As M&A Director of the Mota-Engil Group, he was responsible for many of the acquisitions and divestitures in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. In this role he managed the privatisation of ANA-Airports Portugal and EGF Portugal (waste management). Responsible for institutional relationships with the World Bank, EBRD and EIC.
Paulo has a background in civil engineering complemented by further qualifications in Finance, Public-Private Partnerships, Real Estate Management and Health, with an Advanced Management Program (UCP/Lisbon and Kellogg School of Management/Chicago).
